Day ~42.

I made my first doctor's appointment. It was only the second time I'd said the words "I'm pregnant" out loud to anyone except myself and DTB. And this time, I said it to an actual person, not just a voice mail.

The appointment setter asked me if it was my first pregnancy. "Yes." Then she asked my age. "32."

Oh my god. 32. I am 32, and it's my first pregnancy. It sounded old to my ears ... so much older than I ever expected. And yet I feel way too young inside.

February 16, we will hear the heartbeat for the first time.
